New bridge and school buildings among DPWH pipeline projects in Aurora

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is about to start construction of school buildings and a bridge in Aurora province, officials said.

Current projects include two new school buildings in the town of Dingalan and a 90 linear meter bridge in the town of San Luis.

In a statement, Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said the construction of the two two-story, six-class buildings at Dingalan Central School and Umiray Elementary School will be started. implemented as part of the DPWH convergence program with the Ministry of Education.

The construction of the Real Bridge in San Luis is expected to provide residents with an efficient and reliable road transport network by the time it is completed.
“In addition to connecting the Barangay Real to its neighboring villages, this new bridge will make a significant contribution to the development of tourism and stimulate economic activity in the region,” said Andal.

The project includes the construction of flood control structures on sheet pile foundations as well as an 18 linear meter detour steel bridge that will be used by motorists during its construction.
