Jerrell W. Williams, 69, of Waterman, IL, died at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born on December 27, 1951 in Sandwich, IL, son of Albert and Irene (Jaggers) Williams .
Jerrell married the love of his life, Bonnie I. Michael, on October 14, 1977. They lived happily together for the next 20 years until his untimely death on May 14, 1998. Over the years, Jerrell worked for DeKalb Ag, Paul Johnson Trucking, Wagner Excavating, Thom Excavating and Northern Pipeline Construction (NPL). He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Marcie (Mikey) Mysliwiec; his granddaughter, Peyton (fiancee, Evan Bays) Mysliwiec of Deckers, CO; his nephews, Dennis Williams of Rock Falls, IL and Terry (Heather) Braffet of Earlville, IL; his niece, Stephanie (Terry) Barringer of DeKalb, IL; and his brother, Fred (Laurie) Williams of Amboy, IL. In addition to his wife, Bonnie, Jerrell was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Irene Williams.
Friends can visit from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home, 1001 E. Garfield St., Waterman, IL.
Private interment will be held at a later date at North Clinton Cemetery, Waterman, IL.
