HOUSTON – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – EPIC Y-Grade, LP (“EPIC” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the completion of its 165-mile pipeline from the EPIC Fractionation Complex in Robstown, Texas, to the Fractionation and Sweeny storage, which includes Phillips 66 and Chevron Phillips Chemical. The company enjoys a strategic advantage through its connectivity to the Corpus Christi and Sweeny, Texas markets. EPIC can transport and split volumes of NGLs in both locations and access its storage location in Sweeny for Y grade and purity products. The Company also commissioned a 175-mile propane pipeline for the delivery and sale of product to Sweeny, Texas.
EPIC continued to expand its long-term relationship with the downstream market through a recently completed ethane pipeline connected to Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, an ExxonMobil and SABIC joint venture. This facility, which has just announced its mechanical completion, will include a 1.8 million metric ton ethane steam cracker. EPIC is now positioned with multiple strategic connections of purity, including exports around its Corpus Christi fractionation complex.
“EPIC is the only pipeline that can provide shippers with transportation and fractionation service to Corpus Christi and Sweeny destinations,” said Brian Freed, President and CEO of EPIC. “Our assets offer producers and processors in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford a first-rate full-service alternative to Mont Belvieu. I am extremely proud of our employees and contractors for safely executing our last major pipeline construction project.
In addition, LGN volumes began to flow under transportation agreements associated with BANGL, a strategic transaction between MPLX, WTG and WhiteWater Midstream, announced late last year.
